High Purity expertise at Clean Event 2025
Located near Eindhoven, in the heart of the high-tech region of the Netherlands, the Clean Event 2025 has a clear intention: „Connecting the industrial cleanliness value chain“. The event took place on April 17 and links high-end customers like ASML, Thermo Fisher Scientific and TRUMPF with suppliers.

MAFAC presents clever Cleaning Solutions for the Semiconductor Industry

These suppliers range from OEMs and system providers to component and part suppliers as well as manufacturers of machining centers that produce with the highest precision. The central element of this chain: providers of systems for the industrial cleaning of components and parts for reproducible high purity. Among the exhibitors: MAFAC as a technology leader in the field of aqueous industrial parts cleaning, with a focus on developing the individually best solution for highly demanding customers and applications.

Mr. Oostendorp, why is MAFAC participating in this key event?

» Well, we have been present in extremely demanding markets such as semiconductor and laser technology for a number of years. Several European companies – both end users and OEMs – are now cleaning on our systems in precisely coordinated processes. Internal analysis at these customers has confirmed that the results meet industry-specific cleaning standards. And in addition to these general guidelines, they also reliably meet the often even higher factory benchmarks. We are – frankly – a little proud of this. «

We meet suppliers right where they are. And give specific advice on how to clean to the required specification to become a valuable part of the supply chain.

Cleanliness Standards impact all Stages of the Process Chain.

Armand Oostendorp:  » Many suppliers are at a lower level in the pyramid, do not know what is meant when we talk about grades, about the maximum allowable levels of particles, fibers, inorganic process residues and organic stains. Or don’t even understand that there is a difference between visual and particle cleanliness. So, the event is also a platform to establish a common understanding of high purity.

For us, this means meeting all these suppliers right where they are and give specific advice on how to clean to the required specification. And how to become a valuable part of the supply chain in the semiconductor industry or other demanding markets. «

What did MAFAC stand for at Clean Event 2025?

» The most important thing is to point out that it makes little sense to focus on one cleaning and drying process. Which may be just right for the moment, for a customer and for certain products. But it may be overkill for less demanding tasks or, conversely, insufficient for even more complex future requirements. What is really needed – and what makes economic sense – is flexibility. «

The parts cleaning systems and technologies of MAFAC offer exactly this kind of flexibility, covering a wide variety of processes. The cleaning results – both in terms of component cleanliness and drying performance – can be precisely controlled. In addition, MAFAC provides expert consultation on its patented technologies for a range of application scenarios: from MAFAC Kinematics for simple components to MAFAC Vacuum Activated Purification VAP. A technology developed specifically for demanding industries such as electronics, additive manufacturing, optics, and laser technology. This ensures even the finest particles are reliably removed from the process and the products.
